Focus Features unveiled the official poster for Werwulf (2026), the new Robert Eggers horror period piece. The artwork features star Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the titular cursed man/creature.
Werwulf hits cinemas from December 25.
The latest trailer for Onslaught (2026) properly introduces the “perfect soldiers” Crybaby, Cockroach, and the Butcher.
In Onslaught, Adria Arjona plays “a badass Army sniper” who “must unleash hell to protect her young daughter, when a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers break loose in the desert.” This movie from director Adam Wingard and screenwriter Simon Barrett opens theatrically in the U.S. on September 4.
Hope (2026) is heading to the big screen on September 9, so NEON Rated has debuted its poster. Na Hong-jin’s sci-fi action extravaganza is set in a “remote village,” where “police and local hunters set out to track a mysterious creature and find themselves hunted instead. But not all is as it seems. As panic spreads and reality begins to unravel, the village finds itself facing something far beyond imagination.”
Judging by its trailer, Victorian Psycho (2026) looks like a bloody and fun time at the movies. After being part of Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section, Victorian Psycho is “coming to theaters this fall.”
Synopsis: “Set in Victorian England, Victorian Psycho sees an eccentric governess (Maika Monroe) arrive at a remote gothic manor, where stranger happenings stir suspicion that she’s not what she seems.”
You can watch now the teaser for Mike Flanagan’s Carrie, a series adaptation of Stephen King’s novel. It’ll premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (September 10-20) and eventually start streaming on Prime Video on October 7.

Hannah Bergholm’s creature feature Nightborn (2026) was named Best Film at the 2026 Fantasia International Film Festival; its star Seidi Haarla won the Outstanding Performance Award.
Other Fantasia winners include Ferine (Best Cinematography, Best Score), Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant (New Flesh Award for Best First Feature), Black Zombie (Northern Excellence Award for Canadian Filmmaking), and Bowels of Hell (AQCC Award).
The 59th edition of the Sitges Film Festival will be celebrated from October 8 to 18. The 4K restoration of Ken Russell’s The Devils (1971), Nicolas Winding Refn’s Her Private Hell (2026), Lee Sang-min’s Salmokji: Whispering Water (2026), Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s The Samurai and the Prisoner (2026), and Nightborn are among the confirmed titles.
