Lionsgate unleashed the trailer for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the “uncut, unrated” version of Quentin Tarantino’s 2003 revenge epic, starring Uma Thurman. Different to the legendary Cannes print that screened a few months ago at the Vista Theater, the cut that is getting a proper release includes a “never-before-seen anime sequence.” Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair finally opens in U.S. theaters on December 5. There will be 35mm and 70mm showings.

You can watch now the ultra-stylish and violent trailer for Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani’s Reflection in a Dead Diamond (Reflet dans un diamant mort, 2025), a “spy thriller” set to hit select cinemas in the U.S. on November 21 and Shudder on December 5.

Synopsis: “When the mysterious woman in the room next door disappears, a debonair 70-year-old ex-spy living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur is confronted by the demons and darlings of a lurid past in which moviemaking, memories and madness collide.”

After screening at Fantastic Fest and Mórbido Fest, the horror movie Dolly (2025) was acquired by IFC and Shudder. A theatrical run is expected in 2026.

Synopsis: “Macy’s engagement weekend turns into a trip from hell when she finds herself kidnapped by a ‘monster’ determined to find their perfect child. A daring blend of New French Extremity and 1970s American horror.”

The horror sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (2025) has gotten a second official trailer, which promises “a new level of fear.” Universal Pictures is bringing this potential box office success to the big screen on December 5.

Full synopsis: “One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The stories about what transpired there have been twisted into a campy local legend, inspiring the town’s first ever Fazfest. Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), concerning the fate of her animatronic friends. But when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it will set into motion a terrifying series of events, revealing dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s, and unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away for decades.”

Sitges and Mórbido Fest selection Crazy Old Lady (Vieja loca, 2025) is heading to Shudder in 2026. Martín Mauregui earned for Crazy Old Lady the Best Horror Director award at Fantastic Fest.

Synopsis: “On a stormy evening, Pedro receives a desperate call from his ex-girlfriend asking him to look after her senile mother, Alicia. What begins as a simple favor soon turns into a terrifying ordeal when Alicia refuses to let him leave. Trapped in the house, he’s forced to play along with her sadistic games to survive the night.”

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced that Black Phone 2 (2025) will be released on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 23. This edition includes: a “behind the scenes look at the frightening set of Black Phone 2,” an audio commentary featuring director and co-writer Scott Derrickson, and more.
