Netflix released the full trailer for Havoc (2025), the latest crime actioner from director Gareth Evans (The Raid: Redemption). Havoc stars Tom Hardy as a “jaded cop” who “fights his way through a corrupt city’s criminal underworld to save a politician’s son.” It’ll be available to stream on Netflix from April 25.

A Variety article revealed new details about Adrián García Bogliano’s upcoming horror movie Talking to a Stranger (Hablando con extraños). Shot in Guadalajara, Mexico, the flick follows “Patricia (played by filmmaker Gigi Saul Guerrero), a grieving mother haunted by a supernatural entity after the tragic loss of her child in a fire.” It was produced by Mórbido Films, Prismaticoos Films, and Corazón Films.

After screening at the Overlook Film Fest, Eli Craig’s slasher Clown in a Cornfield (2025) has gotten a poster along with a bunch of fresh stills, including three that fully show the antagonist Frendo. RLJE Films and Shudder are bringing Clown in a Cornfield to U.S. theaters on May 9.

In the trailer for M3GAN 2.0 (2025) we can see the titular character getting a second chance and an upgrade, as she might be the only one who can stop a rogue android named Amelia. This highly anticipated sequel hits the big screen on June 27, via Universal Pictures and Blumhouse.

Another horror sequel coming from Universal and Blumhouse is Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (2025), this after the box office success of the 2023 flick based on the horror video game of the same name. You can watch now the first teaser for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, ahead of its December 5 theatrical release.

Disney shared the official trailer for TRON: Ares (2025), the third entry in the film series that began way back in 1982. TRON: Ares stars Greta Lee and Jared Leto, and features original music by Nine Inch Nails. It arrives in cinemas on October 10. 

Synopsis: “TRON: Ares follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.”

Judging by its brand-new trailer, Babak Anvari’s Hallow Road (2025) looks like an intense thriller, from the perspective of the parents (Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys) of a girl who accidentally hit someone with her car. The film will open in UK theaters on May 16.

Festivals

The Fantasia International Film Festival unveiled the poster for its 29th edition, to be held from July 17 to August 3 in Montreal, Canada. It’s worth noting that the artwork was created by Donald Caron. Additionally, the festival said that their first wave announcement is coming soon.
