Netflix finally dropped the official trailer for David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino’s collaboration: The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth (2026). In 1977, Cliff (Brad Pitt) works at the New Beverly Cinema and as a bartender, but “when he’s not earning his keep, he’s a fixer, solving situations for Hollywood’s great and the, sometimes, not so good.”
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth hits IMAX cinemas on November 25 and starts streaming on Netflix on December 23.
Synopsis: “Murder, blackmail, theft, extortion, just another summer in Hollywood. Cliff is curious when he gets a call from talent agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki), on behalf of her client, TV megastar Charlie Peters (Scott Caan), a man known for doing his own stunts. And he’s further entertained and intrigued when he meets other characters in Charlie’s world, from his knowing wife Toni (Carla Gugino) to pro football champion turned screen star Roderick Hot Rod Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Then there are the Verdusco brothers (Matt Groove and JB Tadena), mysterious gangsters causing mayhem across the city. What was once a fairytale is now a crime story, a cocktail of violence, ambition, and desire that could only happen in LA.”
The second trailer for Werwulf (2026) is out now and it’s pretty great! Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated horror picture, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe and Lily-Rose Depp, opens theatrically on December 25.
“Bodies” by Drowning Pool is part of the first Slayground (2026) promo released by A24. According to Rue Morgue, Jeremy Saulnier’s horror movie “follows the lead suspect in a mass killing,” who “goes on the run to clear his name while a manhunt closes in around him.”
The trailer for V/H/S/Mixtape (2026) features killer puppets and GWAR, and promises “the loudest film yet” in the horror franchise. The anthology includes segments by RZA, Ernest Dickerson, and Renee Zhan, among other directors. It’ll premiere at Beyond Fest on September 30 and make its Shudder debut on October 9.
Heading to Hulu and Disney+ on October 12 is Clown Panic (2026), a new documentary about the 2016 “clown epidemic” (trailer here).
Synopsis: “When children in a small South Carolina community report seeing clowns hiding in the woods in 2016, few believe them. But as sightings spread across the country, panic escalates into school lockdowns, police investigations and a nationwide media frenzy.”
Another flick for the upcoming spooky season is Hallowarrior (2026), in which Milly Shapiro (Hereditary) plays “the last girl on earth and sole survivor of a humanity-ending plague.” The plot thickens when “her lonely Halloween ritual is interrupted by the arrival of a savage gang of raiders at her doorstep.” Hallowarrior lands on Shudder on October 16.
