Beyond Fest has unveiled the full lineup for its 2026 edition, taking place in Los Angeles from September 23 to October 6. Some of the highlights are a Robert Eggers four-film marathon – with the filmmaker in person for a Q&A, plus a “first look at exclusive material” from Werwulf (2026) –, Ken Russell’s The Devils (in 35mm), Duncan Jones’ Rogue Trooper (U.S. Premiere), Severin Films’ 4K restoration of Master of the Flying Guillotine (presented by RZA), and Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s The Samurai and the Prisoner (Black and White Edition).
Coyote vs. Acme (2026), Hope (2026), Sanguine (2026), and Red Snow (2026) are some of the flicks set to screen at the 19th Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival (FEFFS, September 25-October 4). Additionally, the fest is welcoming Belgian director Fabrice du Welz (Calvaire, Vinyan, Maldoror) as Guest of Honor.

Shudder debuted the trailer for Nicholas Pineda’s found footage horror movie Infirmary (2026), which starts streaming on October 2.
Synopsis: “A guard vanished on his first night at an old psych hospital in 2023. His bodycam footage shows unexplainable incidents that continue to baffle investigators.”
As we reported back in March, Quentin Tarantino’s play The Popinjay Cavalier is expected to open at London’s West End in 2027. And now Deadline revealed that Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Brüno) has signed on to star in Tarantino’s highly anticipated “swashbuckling stage comedy.”
The 20th anniversary re-release of Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) is around the corner and so we’ve got its “official key art.” Pan’s Labyrinth returns to theaters, in 4K and 3D, on October 9.
