Honey Bunch (2025), the latest flick from Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli (directors of Violation), has gotten an official trailer, ahead of its Shudder debut on February 13.
Synopsis: “When Diana wakes from a coma with fragmented memories, she and her husband seek experimental treatments at a remote facility. As the procedures intensify, their marriage is put to the test and Diana begins to question her husband’s true motives.”

Corin Hardy’s supernatural horror movie Whistle (2025) – which follows “a misfit group of unwitting high school students who stumble upon a cursed Aztec Death Whistle” – hits U.S. theaters on February 6. Watch here its trailer.

Another upcoming horror picture is undertone (2025), set to open in U.S. cinemas on March 13 (trailer). Ian Tuason’s debut feature is about “the host of a popular paranormal podcast,” who “becomes haunted by terrifying recordings mysteriously sent her way.”
Festivals

Fantastic Fest (September 17-24) is currently “looking for the most brazen, bizarre, and bold short and feature films from around the world.” You can submit for the Austin-based festival via FilmFreeway.

Submissions are now open for the Frontières Platform (Marché du Film in Cannes, May 16-17) and the Frontières Co-Production Market (Montreal, July 22-25).

The Final Girls Berlin Film Festival unveiled the poster for its 2026 edition, taking place from March 4 to 8. The festival “showcases horror cinema that’s directed, written, or produced by women and non-binary filmmakers.”
